6 tips to lower your delivery costs

Food delivery options

Delivery in Vietnam is getting to the next level. I ordered once a hot cup of latte to my office desk (then I felt bad about my laziness).

Afterwards, we wonder… What could be done to lower delivery costs? We’ve looked around, found a few and want to share with you, humbly.

1/ Secure a semi-automated scooter or two with large storage capacity. Tips on tips: branded your storage box. 2/ Hire a few delivery people and try to coordinate multiple deliveries and pickups to maximize efficiency.

→ I mean, no brainer. You might already do this. But here are more:

4/ Make contacts with businesses that don't offer their own delivery and see if you can work together. You can try pharmacies, grocery stores, dry cleaners, liquor stores or whatever businesses you can think of.

5/ Normally you will be busy during lunch and dinner time (10 am-2pm or 5pm to 9pm) and the rest is your low time. Share the low time wages with other business. Maybe talk to your neighbor business that don’t have their own delivery services and ask them to share some costs with you. Some ideas are pharmacies, dry cleaners, liquor stores or even grocery stores and the list goes on.

6/ To keep your branding consistent with your missions, use compostable boxes that can be biodegradable within 45 days (ehem) → check out this link: https://www.green-domino.com/mang-i-delivery

Here we go. Hopefully you find those tips are useful! Let us know what you think?
